Christmas on the Gold Coast will never be the same again.
In the biggest event of its type ever mounted in Australia, Santa Claus will be coming to town the Sunday 4th December 2022, in front of hundreds of thousands of excited families.
At last! The Gold Coast gets the
Christmas it deserves!
Get ready to ring in the festive season with a spectacular parade of vibrant floats up to 8 metres long and 5 metres high with dance troupes, bands, marchers, cartoon characters, street performers, celebrities, community groups, sports teams, and of course… Santa Claus!
The Gold Coast Christmas Parade will include up to 18 colourful floats, dancers, marching bands, street performers, celebrities, and community groups. It will stretch 2.6kms along the beachfront Esplanade from Narrowneck to Northcliffe Terrace.

Up to 200,000 people are expected to come into the city for the parade, and millions more across the country and the world are expected to join in the events by watching it on network television and streaming online.
